FAQs

What do I need to bring?
Bring an ID that shows you are at least 21 years of age. We do not provide alcohol, but alcohol is permitted. Alcohol must be purchased from a bar, brewery, or restaurant in the downtown entertainment district and put in a plastic cup. Bring any non-alcoholic beverages (Absolutely no glass), and coolers, and feel free to bring your own playlist. Decorations and costumes are welcome. We can also store small purses and bags on the bike.

What can’t I bring?
Glass containers and illegal drugs are never allowed on the bike.

How many people can go?
14 total.  10 pedaling seats and 2 bench seats in the back that hold 2 people each.

Do you have to pedal?
No, our bike has an electric assist motor so if you would rather not pedal you do not have to.

How does drinking work on the bike?
Alcohol is allowed on the bike, but it must be purchased from a downtown bar or brewery and put in a plastic cup from the bar or brewery it was purchased. We are not allowed to provide you with alcohol for the trip.

Do I have to be 21 to ride?
Yes. All riders MUST be at least 21 years of age. Proof of ID is required at check-in. Please check in 30 minutes prior to the route start time.

CODE OF CONDUCT
The following actions are not allowed while riding the Mobile Pedal Tour. All riders must abide by our Code of Conduct. If anyone violates any of these actions, you will be removed immediately, and the tour will be canceled at the driver’s discretion and no refund will be honored.

  • Any form of indecent exposure
  • Giving alcohol to non-passengers
  • Standing at any point the bike is not parked
  • Vulgar or socially inappropriate music
  • Obscene or vulgar language
  • Over-intoxication
  • Smoking cigarettes, cigars and/or use of any illegal substances
  • Vomiting on or around the bike
  • Public urination on or around the bike
  • Littering
  • Any other behavior deemed inappropriate

How long is the tour?
Our tours are approximately 2 hours of pure bliss gliding through our beautiful city!

What is the cancellation/refund policy?
If you need to cancel your reservation, we will provide a full refund if given notice at least 24 hours prior to the tour date. Missing the start time or canceling within 24 hours of the ride date will preclude you from receiving a refund unless prior exception was made.

What happens if it rains?
We keep a close eye on the skies and will let you know if the weather will make it unsuitable or unsafe to ride. We will inform you if the ride will be canceled due to the weather, please do not make any assumptions regarding cancellations. If canceled, you will receive a full refund. 

What should I wear?
We encourage everyone to be comfortably dressed. Please keep in mind you will be pedaling. Also, the bike seats are elevated, so consider how upward breezes may affect your outfit. Please do not wear high heels, open-toe shoes, or sandals. 

Do we stop anywhere during the tour?
Yes!  There will be two to three stops on each tour. At least one stop will be at one of our favorite local bars, allowing you to get another drink, stretch your legs, and use their facilities. Other stops may include food trucks and “Instaworthy” murals.

Where does the tour start and end and where do I park?
We start and end our tours at Wingman Brewing located at 656 St. Louis St., Mobile, AL 36602. There is plenty of free parking along Monroe St.

Should I tip?
Our operators work hard to provide an enjoyable experience. This is how they make their money so if you had a great time, please tip. 20% is customary for private groups. Cash, Venmo, and CashApp are a few acceptable forms of payment for tipping. Just scan the QR bar codes located around the bike.

Do I have to have a reservation?
Yes. All tours are reservation based only.

When should I arrive for my tour?
Please arrive at Moe’s BBQ at 701 Springhill Ave., Mobile, AL 36602 – 30 minutes prior to your reservation time to allow time to check in and sign your waivers. All tours leave promptly at the scheduled tour time. If you know you may be late for your reservation, please call 251-272-9230.

Can I decorate?
Absolutely! Decorations are welcome. All decorations must be socially appropriate. Nothing can be taped to the bike. We recommend decorating with anything you can tie.

Please note: we cannot cover our signs or advertisers with decorations at any time.

Is there music?
Absolutely! You can bring your own socially acceptable playlist (you will be pedaling through public streets).

Is it dangerous?
It is no more hazardous than riding a regular bicycle. However, as with everything, there is always risk involved so passengers ride at their own risk. Passengers will be required to complete a liability waiver at the start of the route.

Is there a weight limit?
Yes, there is a 285lb per seat weight limit.
